This is so sad to read. People buy things at the store expecting and trusting them to be safe; especially for their children. When something has contaminated some baby milk not only is it hard to track but it's hard to warn everyone.
I think this is extremely disturbing. The thing that scares me the most is the fact that I haven't even heard about this. Our news focuses mostly on events that are relevent to the UNITED STATES, and unless you are searching for current events, you are pretty much oblivious to everything that happens in foreign nations. It's our job to look out for other countries so that maybe they'd do the same for us.
I agree this is very sad and disturbing. Something that we take for grated that it will be safe for human to consume, such as milk, is always going to be ok for too. it is very said how something so simple as milk can be so harmful. I really am just wondering how Melamine got into the milk. Something that is used for wood adhesive or a flame retardant even be put into the milk.
Indeed it is confusing to think how Melamine was found or even put in the milk. Although I dont have any children of my own I can't imagine how a parent would feel if their child was affected. Especially after the indicent, it would make me extremely nervous to buy products of any kind, knowing that my trust in a product could harm or kill my family members or myself. It's a scary thought.
