The obvious affect for Amendment 48 is to totally ban abortion. It would completely affect couple's sex lives by not allowing any form of birth control. It would also consider the action of preventing a fertilized egg from implanting, murder. The birth control pill as well as emergency contraception would be banned, and obviously the number of unwanted pregnancies would visibly increase. However, what if a woman needed to use the birth control pill for other reasons that did not relate to being sexually active? Many use it for health reasons that do not have anything to do with sex. The birth control pill has proved to many girls that it works for keeping the body in hormonal balance, regulating periods, clearing up acne, and relieving PMS and cramping during menstrual cycles. In addition, research has shown that the birth control pill can give girls less of a chance of getting cancer on the ovaries and uterus, less chance of getting breast cancer, less chance of getting cysts in the ovaries, and also can make bones stronger. So is it really necessary to ban birth control for everyone? Many strongly believe that abortion should be banned, but in my own opinion the birth control pill should not be a part of that.

Wow i heard about this not too long ago. I agree with you birth control pills should not be ban. I mean its not really abortion. I don't know but if does be banned then well see about the pregnancy rates...right?
I think it would be completely ridiculous to ban birth control. It helps women relating to other issues besides pregnancy. I think that brith control is the mature adult like way of being responsible if you are sexually active so you dont have to get an abortion.
im proud to say that i have a sign outside my house saying no on 48. i strongly agree on that. banning abortion is dumb, banning birth control is stupid because that helps girls with other things not just preventing pregnancy. VOTE NO ON 48!!
Not all forms of birth control would be banned. The IUD intro Uterine Device and a couple others would be banned if passed. So yes vote NO! on amendment 48
